Trying out needle felting.

At some point I wanted to try something new - here are three pairs for children of a friend of mine.

So as the first ones turned out to be super warm and soft I figured why not knit some more. So that´s when my family started to get these for birthdays and Christmas.

Here should be a box of matches next to them to see how small they are. At the moment this pair is in Tartu Kaubamaja in a small yarn shop as an example.

My Very First Felted Slippers

Once, I read from some kind of craft magazine about how to do felted slippers the easy way. No need for soap or hours behind a washbasin. You just need to knit extremely big socks and put them in a washing machine with a big terry towel. Use a normal programme and once taking them out, just pull them on 3-4 number smaller shoes.

The very first slippers I made for myself. Here is a picture of the slipper before putting it into a washing machine. So it is rather a sock.
